Shopping experience

I used koreanskincare.nl to order this product. I've done so twice now. The online experience is very pleasant. There's almost no friction, it's easy to find products you want and the recommendations are solid.

Packaging

They try to package your product in the smallest possible box. They do offer you samples of other products you don't need but may wish to try out. I think that's waste. The package is however well secured. The product itself comes in tiny packaging. The only wasteful item in this packaging is the wrap surrounding the product. It's a flimsy piece of paper. I suppose it's meant to give you a luxurious feel, but to me it's wasteful.

Reason for using this product

I consider moisturising an essential step in anyone's skincare routine. I've been trying out different ones to see which one I like.

Product experience

This product contains humectants (pulls water into the skin), emollients (smooths and softens the skin), and occlusives (seals moisture in). I will highlight some of them.

It contains honey extract and hyaluronic acid that pull water into the skin, squalane that mimics the epidermis' ability to repair and moisturise itself through the activity of sebum, and coconut oil to keep the moisture in. I think Squalane is both an emollient and an occlusive.

The cream feels amazing to use. It doesn't feel sticky in your hands. You need to wait a little while for the skin to absorb it fully, which is true for all moisturisers. It's rich without being too oily and sticky.

Don't use too much! You really only need a little.

I feel this one of the best moisturisers I have ever used. It's pleasant to apply and my skin never feels dry when I'm wearing this on my face.
